Save up to 40% on Home Energy Improvements!

About CE$

Cleveland homes are incredibly charming and, let's face it, old and drafty. Qualified City of Cleveland homeowners can save up to $3,750** on home energy efficiency improvements through the Cleveland Energy$aver program brought to you by the City of Cleveland, Cleveland Housing Network, and CASH Cleveland. Here's how it works:

As a homeowner living in the City of Cleveland, you pay $50 for an energy assessment of your home. This $50 will be reimbursed if you complete the program.

Within 5 - 7 business days following the assessment, you will receive an energy assessment report with efficiency recommendations and cost estimates. Suggested improvements might include attic insulation, furnace replacements, programmable thermostats, new windows and doors, and water-saving devices.

You decide which recommendations you would like to complete and choose from a list of pre-approved contractors. You will receive a 20% discount on the price approved measures, up to $2,500. Optional loans through CASH Cleveland are available for the remaining costs. After payment to the contractor is made, you will receive an additional rebate on the original loan amount or funds spent, up to $1,200, from Dominion, depending on which improvements were made. Total savings can be up to $3,750.

The chosen contractor will schedule and carry out the improvements. After the work is complete, an assessor will perform a quality check of the work.

In 6 to 12 months, you will receive an energy savings report to show how much money and energy you have saved!
